This is a vintage hotel that will take you on a trip back in time to the glory days of the Adriatic Riviera, by that I mean that you need a real key to enter your room, the elevator does not have memory and the decoration is quite retro. With this out of the way, this hotel's location is amazing, right in front of the beach. The room was small, but the bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast was OK and the pastries were to die for. The staff is very friendly and although most of them seemed not to speak English, they tried their best to make you feel comfortable and welcome. Davide (I believe he is the owner), is very helpful and spent almost 30 minutes with me explaining how to get from the hotel to Fiabilandia by public transports and allowed me to make a very late check out since no guests were coming in on that day ... oh, and he can make a great gin tonic.

The Diplomat hotel in Cattolica offers an extraordinary experience thanks to the super professional staff. The kindness and availability of the team make the stay truly pleasant, it’s a first time for me but sure not the last. Thank you again
